TEACHING
Besides touring, recording and teaching at the conservatory, it's also a lot of fun for me to give drum lessons. Since 1999 I gave drum lessons, workshops and did bandcoaching in different (music) schools in and around Rotterdam, and as a substitute around the country. This year though, regarding the experience and the information I gained over more than ten years, it feels like the right time to start with private teaching.
Conditions:
Considering the student has the right attitude and motivation, I will accept drummers who meet up to one of two conditions:1. The student wants to go into the conservatory.
I will check the level of the student during an intake, and work out a programme that will cover the needs of the student according to the admission requirements.
2. The student is already a working drummer, but wants to develop a better sound, improve his/her vocabulary, work on different styles etc.
I will check the level of the student during an intake, the student describes the subject(s) he/she wants to work on, and I'll work out a program to achieve the desired skills.
Lessons are on academic level only, I will offer a special programme based on the specific needs of every single student.

30 minute lesson €25,0045 minute lesson €37,50
60 minute lesson €50,00
Audio and video material are included in the rates.
Students over 21 years of age will need to pay 19% BTW (VAT).
